25,000-strong organization touts Gottheimer’s commitment to fighting for New Jersey’s working families, creating good jobs and strengthening our economy

Hackensack, NJ – U.S. Congressman Josh Gottheimer (NJ-5) announced today that he has earned the endorsement of the Bergen County Building & Construction Trades Council, which represents 25,000 workers and their families living in Bergen County.

“Congressman Josh Gottheimer is an incredible fighter for the priorities of working families in Bergen County and New Jersey and we are proud to endorse him for re-election,” said Rick Sabato, president of the Bergen County Building & Construction Trades Council. “He works hard to bring good jobs to New Jersey, and stands up for what matters to our families, including defending the healthcare our members depend on and fighting for infrastructure and lower taxes. Josh Gottheimer knows how to get things done and delivers results, and we look forward to working to send him back to Congress.”

“The hardworking men and women of the Building & Construction Trades quite literally build our economy and I am so honored to have their support and proud to be fighting alongside them to strengthen our communities,” said Gottheimer. “Whether it’s fighting for critical infrastructure projects, including Gateway and the Portal Bridge, that will create thousands of good jobs in our state, or protecting affordable healthcare, I won’t stop fighting to grow our economy, to expand opportunities and to ensure a bright future for our families.”
